MyPMS Release - July 6, 2016

Enhancements:

Add guest history lookup on new booking window
Spilt InActive and Active users into separate tables.
Group Booking Engine:
- The "Add Room" function in the Group Booking Engine now displays the Room Rate and Reservation total when a guest is making a booking. All properties using the BookingCenter booking engine has a booking engine for groups. Learn how to use the Group Booking Engine.
MyCARD Customers:

- PAX Reader Pages: For properties with multiple PAX Reader devices. in preparation for EMV support
  - We have added a “NFC/EMV Reader” setting in SETUP | PMS | SETUP. If set to YES, then 2 buttons will appear in the Manage Credit Cards window: 1). Swipe and NFC and, 2) Pin Card . If the setting is NO, then these buttons will be hidden. The PAX devices are what BookingCenter is in the process of certifying for both NFC (near field communication such as Applepay or Googlepay) and EMV. See Setup
  - New menu Item for Pax Devices if this setting is set to live then
  Create a "list type" page to list the devices
  Create a 'Details" page so details can be verified / edited

Owner's Area: Each unit owner can now go to https://owners.bookingcenter.com and log in to see their details, bookings, commissions and reports. Learn more about Owner Management

We are pleased to announce that the following software bugs were fixed in this release:

If "Guaranteed By" was not chosen or empty, an error message is returned.
Group Letter Merge Fields for Projected Accomodation and Projected Tax were not populating correctly.
Adding a New User returns error if the User ID is already in use. User ID will now be verified in lookup list before saving.
New USER ID was allowing spaces and "special characters".
Projected income not calculating correctly when changing to manual rate in New booking window.
Booking By Inquiry Screen showed zero availability if you select "Manual" Rates.
Change Room Type retains Old Room Number if new room assignement not madeChange the Room Type (Using Edit Tab) and you don't Assign a New Room Number, the booking will retail the original room number if you go back into the booking and press the "save" button in booking data tab.hj
