All Room Type and Rate Plan allocations to Agent Channels are listed and managed in SETUP | RELATIONSHIPS | AGENT RELATIONSHIPS.
Because you can setup and manage a unique set of Room allocations and Rate Plans to each Agent Channel, we refer to this as an Agent Relationship. There are three general categories of Agents each of which can have multiple channels depending on the online distribution channels you choose to setup.
Examples of Agents Channels include: your website, promotional codes, buuteeq, GDS, Booking.com and other online travel agents.
Relationships
In the Agent Relationship screen you can seethe details for each Agent details including: AgentID, Agent Name, Number of Rooms Allocated, Commission percentage and Rate Loading percentage.
Click Agent Id to view contact details for agents.
To see what rooms are allocated to an agent, or to allocate additional rates click on blue link that displays the number of room allocated in the "Rooms Allocated" column for the corresponding Agent. For example, 15 of 17 When you click on this number a new screen will open with a List of the Room Types corresponding Rate Plans you have allocated to that Agent.
To Add a Room Type Allocation to the Channel:
Click the Add button at the bottom right of the screen.
A new window will open
under Rooms Allocated for that agent. In the example below we have 100% of our rooms allocated to the MyPMS agent at the rack rate for each room type.
To manage rooms and rates to your Front Desk, Website, GDS or OTA in MyPMS, you have three choices.
- A wholesale agent that buys at an entirely different rate,
- Websites that are do not see all Room Types,
- Prices are adjusted up or down to reflect commissions
- Agent Type
- Agent Name
- Rooms Allocated
